# MLP Tokenomics ### Supply & distribution MLP has a fixed supply. Allocations include: Early Stage Investors, Marketing Costs, Ecosystem Fund (treasury), Project Launch Incentives (a discount pool for eligible launches), Team & Advisors, Investor & Referral Incentives, and Platform Operations & Liquidity (for MLP markets, not project LP). Unlocks are staggered to avoid single-point supply shocks. Because tiers read live wallet balances, the token remains liquid—there is no mandatory staking to qualify. Governance weight reflects holdings, with additional safeguards to discourage concentration as the system evolves. ### Ecosystem role MLP sits at the center of Mosaic’s launch flow. Projects that align with MLP (for example, designating an MLP quote pair when they list externally) can qualify for increased launch discounts from the Project Launch Incentives pool, subject to caps and documented readiness (audit completed, token minted or migrated to Mosaic Chain). This approach avoids platform-owned LP while still rewarding good launch hygiene.
